Music Ministry

Music Director Chicago native Steven Weyand Folkers has served St. Lambert Church since 1988.

Mr Folkers studied organ with Robert Delcamp and Richard Webster at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Evanston, IL, and with Richard Enright and Grigg Fountain at Northwestern University.

In addition to directing the choir and playing the organ for liturgies at St. Lambert's, he is also active as a composer and arranger. Many of his compositions have been heard at St. Lambert's.

St. Lambert has an active and varied Music Ministry.  The Combined Choirs sing every Sunday at 10:00 a.m.  Mass from September to June.  This multi-generational group consists of the St. Lambert Children's Choir and the St. Lambert Adult Choir.
